Saree: The Symbol for Indian Clothes

Being in India also means getting to know the deeper culture. One part of this culture are the traditional clothes. There are kurtas (long shirts), lungis (skirts for men) and, of course, sarees. A saree is made out of a huge piece of cotton or silk which can be tied in many different ways. Already young girls learn how to do it. It isn’t that easy and need some practise. But it is worth it! Because sarees can be worn for almost every occassion.
